Cinépolis, India’s 1st international and the world’s 2nd largest movie theatre circuit in terms of attendees.  The brand has been constantly working to enhance the movie viewing experience over the year.  Recently they launched one of the most unique concepts that was targeted for watching kids’ movie.  A special AUDI called ‘Cinepolis JUNIOR’ has all the fun-thing that a kid crave for all the time.

This new auditorium opened at the Cinepolis in Forum Mall, Prestige Shantiniketan, Bangalore.  Cinepolis specially screened the movie, ‘How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World’ for select group of influencers with their kids.

Concept

The first theatres auditorium devoted to children by Cinepolis.  New format of entertainment offers families an innovative and fun way to connect through one-of-a-kind spaces, designed keeping children in mind.

Space inside has been uniquely designed that has plenty of play area, colourful play structures and comfortable seating.  Children could either play in the closed enclosure with multiple colored balls, play around the blocks or just run around.  The highlight was the slide from the top row in auditorium to the bottom row.  It looked like a giant roller-coaster ride that kids love.

Comfortable seating options allow families to have a wonderful movie watching experience.  There are sofas where one can stretch the legs and watch movie in reclined position.  The audi also have the normal seats found in other theatre. But they are little different as the middle-support can be off, to let children sit next to us.

Visual effects and south quality in the theatre are top notch that lets children enjoy the movie viewing experience.  Even though we watched 3D movie for 2 hrs, children did not complain of strain.   Children were energetic and ran around the auditorium with renewed energy.

Cinepolis team has also come up with a small mascot for the ‘Cinepolis Junior’.  One person wearing the mascot, thoroughly entertained the children and kept them amused.  Children clicked pictures with the mascot and were happy giving high-fives.

Overall Experience

This is the most unique concept in movie watching experience after IMAX, 4DX and Dolby Atmos.  Myself and my family enjoyed watching the movie in the new Cinepolis Junior Audi.  The place is so much fun that children wanted to play a little longer after the movie completed.  Loved the design, bright colors, play structures and complete appeal of the auditorium.  I hoping to see many more auditorium with similar theme come up in other theatre complex going forward.
