Magnolia is one of the world-renowned dessert places that started way back in 1996 in New York.  Soon after its inception, the brand set its footprint across major cities across the US like Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston.  The brand went International and now has outlets in countries like Saudi Arabi, UAE, Korea, Philippines, Qatar. It’s nice to the brand opened its first outlet in India, especially at Namma Bengaluru.  I recently got a chance to visit the outlet at the busy Indiranagar 12^th Main area.

Ambiance

Magnolia is a place famous for its baked goods, vintage decor, and cozy ambiance.  I had very high expectations before entering the outlet.

The first thing I noticed was that the overall spread and interiors.  Soft colors have been used that make the place look neat and elegant.

Tile used for flooring looks pretty good and is specially designed for Magnolia.

One can see the dessert offering across the glass shelves.  They also make designer cakes if one needs to celebrate any occasion.  I could see cupcakes that had a message for ‘Holi’ written on it.

The preparation of frosting, cream, icing probably happens indoor.  I observe the expert pastry chef making the cream and decorate one of the designer cakes.

Desserts

There are plenty of desserts that one can try that includes Banana Pudding, Lemon Bar, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp, Blonde Marble Cupcake, Devils Food cream cheese. The taste of every dessert was amazing, and every bite gives a burst of flavors.

I personally loved the Banana pudding the most among all the desserts. No wonder it’s the best-selling dessert at Magnolia across the globe.

Devils Food cupcake is another dessert that I loved.  The dessert comes in a nice container with a cupcake in the center surrounded by cream cheese. The sweetness was just perfect, and nothing seemed to overpower.

Blonde Marble Cake is another stunning cupcake that’s topped with tasty cream.

Magnolia has some great cheesecake-like Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Caramel Pecan Cheesecake.

Ice-creams

Magnolia also makes some of the best homemade ice-creams like Vanilla, Pistachio, Chocolate & Salted Caramel. The taste and smoothness of ice-cream will mesmerize anyone. It’s easily one of the best ice-cream I have eaten in a long time.

Drinks

There is plenty of drink option in the bakery. I tried the Hot Chocolate & Ice-tea, both were pretty good.

Final Thoughts

I loved the bakery and plan to come regularly to try their desserts. Preferably one should visit the place with a friend every dessert is very tasty & rich. My top favorite desserts at the place were Banana Pudding, Devils Own. I plan to visit the place more often to try more of their desserts.  It’s best to visit the place with a fellow friend so you can share dessert and try more.
