Aloft Bangalore at Cessna Business Park has been a popular business hotel for IT companies in the Outer Ring Road.  The hotel hosts multiple business meetings, team-lunches and trainings.  And most of the activities happen during the weekdays while the weekend has an uneasy calm.  The management has come up with a novel idea to use the pool-side on the 2nd level for hosting Sunday Brunch.  This will allow families to visit the property and have a relaxed time even though it’s in the heart of IT companies.

Sunday Brunch – Concept

Sunday Brunch at Aloft is unlike the ones at other places, due to its variety.  The extremely talented and skilful Executive Chef Aniket Das plans to keep it exciting by changing the menu over every weekend.

Food Counter

Dishes from various cuisines are served in different sections.  Though it can confuse guests, but it gives more options to pick up any dish as per the liking and mood.

Soups, Salad Bar, Cheese varieties, Egg to Order, Biryani, Indian

 Live Counters

These are places where the guests can just walk up and ask for individual dishes to be prepared.  This allows the guests to add flavours depending on the choices.

Japanese, Pasta (different varieties), Kebab, Chaat counters, Fish & Bar counter

Kids Menu

Its very necessary to have special food that kids love eating.  Most of the dishes might come under the junk food category but kids love eating them.

Pop-corn, Similes, French Fries, Muffins with cream, Cake and Cotton candy

Dessert Section

A perfect ending to the meal would be having a dessert.  They do have great dessert spread to let guests pick from the available variety.

Waffle with nutella & other sauces, Indian sweets, Cakes and more

Bar Counter

A great food and drink go along very well.  Bartender here makes some amazing cocktails and mocktails.

Entertainment

Live music performance during the Sunday brunch lets everyone relax while having food.    A special play-area for kids keeps them entertained.

Final Thoughts

Kudos to Amit Kumar (Hotel Manager) for coming concept of brunch by the blue.  Thanks to Chef Ankit Das for curating some menu for the brunch.  I am looking forward to visiting the property for Sunday brunch in future.
