Sriracha | Exceptional Food |Robata | Contemporary Pan Asian
Sriracha, a very popular restaurant that serves some of the Best Pan Asian and Japanese food. Located on the busy Indiranagar 12th Main, they serve some exception dishes that are not available elsewhere in Bangalore. I got a chance to visit the place with my friends and tried many of the dishes.
The interiors of the place have been done well and make it look spacious. There are different sitting arrangements for people – high rise tables, private dining section, lounge section and normal tables.
A beautiful painting of a Japanese lady with the traditional hand-fan can be seen that looks quite good.
Guests can also look at the Chefs working across the live Grill section.
One can also choose to sit by the transparent glass that overlooks the traffic on Indiranagar 12th main.
The restaurant has some exceptionally talented Chefs – Chef Shiva Kumar & Chef Vikas Seth. Every dish has been carefully curated which will make anyone have a memorable experience.
Som Tam Salad
A salad that’s a signature dish for Sriracha. Chef prepares the dish live, in front of guests, when there is a large table. The dish contains a combination of Raw Papaya, Raw Mango, Groundnuts, Fried Garlic, Sesame seeds, Grapefruit, Orange, Lemon, Baby tomatoes & a few more ingredients. But the taste comes from the special spices made in Sriracha and way the Chef mixes the ingredients. I bet that anyone eating this will fall in love with salad.
Pandan Leaf Wrapped Cottage Cheese Chilli Coriander
This was undoubtedly the best Paneer I have had in Bangalore. It very soft and spices added on top make it a heavenly experience. I came to know that Sriracha sources paneer from one of the best vendors and they go personally to collect it at the airport.
Khmer – A Taste of Cambodia
A special dish that’s again cooked on a unique container. Different veggies like lettuce, sprouts, beans are put in hot water while Tofu topped with spices are heated in the central section of the cooking vessels. After a while Chef takes out the veggies and puts them on a serving bowl.
Finally, Tofu is placed on the boiled vegetable and then the broth of veggies is poured. The taste of the dish is just amazing, and it’s a must-try dish at this place.
Fresh Spring Roll
A favorite dish for many, has the best of ingredients like Lettuce, Garlic, Scallion, Carrot, Basil Cucumber, Grass Noodles, Bean sprouts. Unlike the fried spring-roll that we are used to, this one is wrapped in Rice paper wrap and served with Rice vinegar & Sweet soy dressing. It is for sure is the tastiest Spring roll I have had in a while.
Roasted Pumpkin & Water Chestnut Dumpling
A beautiful looking dumpling that has a unique filling of Water chestnut & roasted pumpkin. Served with toasted sesame seeds & spice rice vinegar, it will make anyone love Dimsum. This dish might look very simple but it requires skill to package it right.
This was another amazing dish that was very well packaged. The stuffing was exceptionally tasty, and I loved it very much with the sauces.
Banana Cake with Coconut Ice Cream, Sumatra Dark Chocolate Mousse
We all love to either keep space for dessert. But there are many who automatically create space by looking at desserts. Both desserts were presented very well and tasted amazing.
This was the only drink that I tried while having my meal and it was well prepared. It had a good amount of mint-leaves and the right amount of sweetness.
I loved dining at this beautiful restaurant that has a beautiful ambiance and serves some very tasty dishes. Every dish was well prepared and the flavors were just right. The presentation of the dishes was able top-class, and anyone would want to click pictures before eating the dish. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish and everything had something unique in them. Kudos to the team of Chef for the wonderful hospitality.
