Synopsis
A movie that was in my radar to be watched since the time the trailers came out. This is a follow up to their earlier movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulhania.
The movie started quite well with a lot of comedy and fun. We have 2 really good actors in the present times who are done really good – Varun and Alia.
The movie might look from outside as the usual romance flick but it isn’t that straight. Coz they tried to dwell into the topics of Parental pressures of marriage, the existing dowry system prevalent in UP region, the idea of not letting a girl pursue some of her dreams in life, celebrations on birth of boy child – but all is shown in a light manner. But then here comes a character called Vaidehi who wants to break the shackles and pursue her dreams. Our hero Badri loves her and wants to get married, is upset by the decision but then still pursues her.
Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulhania might be a little slow at times, it still keeps all engaged with very sincere acting by both the leads actor. For comedy, we have Sahil playing the role as Badri’s friend, who has done great Job. I like the short sequences when Gauhar Khan was on screen as police inspector in Singapore.
Songs are pretty good and for sure movie is entertaining.

The only thing I would have wanted is a reentry of Sanjay Dutt & Madhuri for Tamma Tamma song.
