Ambiance

The first thing one expects when visiting a place like Radisson Blu Atria is that things should look picture perfect.

It starts at the entrance where they have displayed multiple spices that go into various Indian dishes.  They also etched out the name TIJOURI using the spices that looks very good.

Just before the entrance, one can notice the beautiful indoor fountains that look very elegant.   They also special artwork with multiple Bamboo shoots and multiple focus light.

My favorite part of the restaurant is the inside section that has a glass wall between the dining area and kitchen.  We can see the Chefs working on Tandoor, Kebabs, and also cooking our dishes.

They have paintings of ladies, wearing traditional attire and consumes on the walls.  The paintings look a little rustic but look amazing.

The roof of the restaurant is decorated with mirrors that sure does look amazing.

Food Options

The restaurant has been known over the years for the amazing Indian food.  So, I had very high expectations from the experience.  Let me break it down and share more info.

Soup

Tomato Daniya Shorba

Easily this was one of the best Shorba I had in a long time.  The tomato flavor was coming out very well and it was the best dish at the start a meal.

Starters

Malai Broccoli, Mattar Cheese Tikki, Paneer Tikki

Every starter was very well made but if I were to pick a favorite, it would be ‘Malai Brocolli’.  The Brocolli was well cooked, the cream was very evenly put on the Brocollis and mint-chutney went along very well.

Mattar Cheese Tikki was another amazing dish that was well done. The surprise element was the cheese right in between the Tikki adding special flavor every time one takes a bite.

Main Course

Masala Paneer, Saag Bhindi, Balti Veg Curry, Dal Makhani, Veg Biryani

After having some amazing soup & starters, I wanted the main course to be perfect.  This is exactly what happened.  The Saag Bhindi was one of the best I have ever eaten.  The saag had a  unique flavor that it did gel very well with the Bhindi.  The dish might look simple but I am sure Chef and his team would have put a lot of effort into getting it right.

Masala Paneer was another outstanding dish that was so tasty that I did not stop after taking the first bite.  I ended up finishing the entire portion like Saag Bhindi.

Balti Veg Curry was also was a pretty good dish that had a slightly spicy gravy due presence of nearly 20-25 spices.  It went along very well with the Indian bread.

Dal Makhani & Veg Biryani were also pretty well made but I clearly knew my favorite.

Dessert

Bhoondi, Dry Jamoon, Kaju Roll

I am a big fan of desserts and always make sure that some space is reserved for the same.  This unique combination of 3 desserts made into one was something I was very much looking forward to tasting.  It did not disappoint me one bit and it was spot on.  I enjoyed every bite of the dessert.

Final Thoughts

This was one of the best food tasting sessions I have been part of in recent times.  Every dish that was served, did reflect on the quality of the Chef & the team.  Special appreciation to the staff that was ever so kind as to help me out whenever needed.  My favorite dish among all the dishes would be the Saag Bhindi and Masala Paneer Tikka.  I am looking forward to visiting many more times with my friends and family.

I especially recommend visiting this place for lunch/dinner with family and office colleagues.  Always remember to spend ample time and not hurry for finishing the meal to enjoy the experience.
