Mishmash Restobar has been a popular outlet in HSR layout for many years. Recently they moved to a new place closer to the BDA complex. The place serves an amazing selection of food & beverages that will bring cheers to anyone. I visited there recently to try some of the dishes part of new menu.

Ambiance

The place has a very cosy ambiance that will make anyone comfortable. Resto-bar is located across the 1st & 2nd floors.

The 1st floor has very nice table arrangements with wooden chairs. Lighting arrangements look amazing and there is funny cartoon on the wall that’s amusing.

The second floor is more like the covered terrace that’s sort of small parties and for those who love hanging out in open. The place also overlooks the main road.

Food & Beverages

Soup & Salad

Cream of Mushroom, Raw Papaya & Mango Salad, Mixed Jewel Sprouts Salad

I loved the Cream of Mushroom soup as I could get the amazing taste of mushroom & it was very creamy. Raw Papaya salad also was tasty.

They also have a Spicy Thai Pumpkin Chicken Soup for Non-Vegetarians.

Appetizers

Jalapeno Poppers, Mushroom Kurkure, Dahi Kebab

Loved the Poppers the flavors just gush into the mouth on biting into it. Mushroom Kurkure also very tasty but I think they could avoid adding too much of chat masala on top.

There are good varieties of appetizers for Non-Vegetarians like Chilli Pork Ribs, Prawn Dimsum, Harissa Grilled Lamb.

Main Course

Lo Mein Noodles with Veg Manchurian, Nizami Subzi Handi with Butter Roti, Green Day Pizza

I loved the Veg Manchurian and I thought it was the softest I have eaten. Nizami Subzi was also tasty and had an amazing gravy. Though it’s a Restobar, it’s good to see the place also serves some Indian comfort food. Green Day Pizza also good, with loads of toppings but is best consumed when hot. I will want to frequent Mishmash for trying some of the dishes.

There are some good Non-Vegetarians dishes like Jack Daniel’s Chicken & Kori Gassi Served with Rice.

Dessert

Sheer Kurma Bullets, Blueberry Cheesecake

I loved the Sheer Kurma Bullets the most as it had right amount of sweetness and was presented very well.

Drinks

Cocktails – Jalapeno Peach Martini (Signature – Vodka based), Nui Nui (Rum), The Basil Smash (Gin)

Mocktails – Oreo Shake, Coco Line Lychee

Loved the drinks mentioned above and they sure compliment the food. My favorite pick would be Gin & Rum based cocktails.

Final Thoughts

I had a good time tasting food and drinks at the Mishmash Resto-bar.  There are a few dishes and drinks that were amazing.  During my discussion with the Mishmash team, they found that they have plenty of offers with food & drink throughout the week. I recommend everyone to try Mishmash at the new location.
