Walk In The Woods – Post Event Party at Howard Johnson
Howard Johnson Bangalore recently hosted a special cocktails dinner to celebrate the success of the play “Walk In The Woods”. Motely presented the play in aid of Sightsavers and starred famous actors, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajit Kapur. The play was held at MLR Convention Center at Whitefield and was completely houseful. Audience enjoyed the performance and applauded many times during the play. After finishing their performance, the actors came to Dublin Hall at HoJo where a small party was planned. The highlight of the evening was the special food curated by new Executive Chef Mani Mohan Pathak.
Guest List
The special party had limited guests apart from the celebrity actors – Naseeruddin Shah & Rajit Kapur. Others present included famous Chef Nimish Bhatia, team of Sightsavers and select guests invited by HoJo management. It was great opportunity for guests to interact with the celebrity actors and know about their journey. Enjoyed conversation with Chef Nimish Bhatia who shared a lot of info and narrated incidents during his culinary journey.
Food & Beverages
Food for the evening had elaborate spread of dishes from Indian cuisine. There were separate sections of Soup, Salad, Main Course, Dessert and live-counters. From the initial glance, the dessert section did seem to have plenty of choices. But to my surprise, the Salad section was equally large and had plenty of Veg & Non-Veg options.
Live counters served Chaats, Appams and Tandoor Items.
Roller Kulfi was another unique dessert for the guests to enjoy. This fancy Indian dessert has come up recently and has become very popular.
To make the evening more special, the bartender served some amazing drinks to keep the night young.
