There has a growing number of food festival happening in Bangalore. Each of them has different themes like – Street Food, Vegetarian Food, Food for festivals, Dessert, North Indian Food, South Indian Food, and/or general food festival. Best thing according to me would be see multiple brands at one place. Instead of having to drive, one can be casual and enjoy good food from favourite brand.
Salt Rock is one of the most unique food festival, combining Food, Entertainment & Education.
Variety of brands are participating in the brands making a mixed bad. Some of them are very established, many that are upcoming and few that are slowly making a mark. There are also brands that started small at home and have established their names, become commercial.
To list a few – Café Noir, Samaroh, TeaBox, BombayKulfis, Bakers77, Snow’ora, Khan Saheb, Nossa Goa, Candy Crafts, Nandhana Palace, Pop Hop, Shizusan, Nizaams, Pikkle Shikkle, Caroselle, Banh Mi & Wok, Orzuv, Pulimnchi, Roll Over, Waffle Stores, Ground Up Coffeee, Intoxicake, Hatti Kapi, Samosa Singh, Sula Vineyards, and many more.

This would be the special section which will let one enjoy dessert along with some hot tea. There would be 6 out of the 12 desserts by Spoonful Sugar that can be paired with some tasty & refreshing teas by TeaBox at Pop-up Tea Room.
Lagori – Bangalore based band made of 5 unique musicians (frontman Tejas Shankar, drummer Vinyl Kumar, bassist Shalini Mohan and guitarists Edward Rasquinha & Geeth Vaz) will be performing on 24th Feb’18.
Neill Braganza Music – Independent Pop/Punk Rock band that have been popular across the city since 2013, will be performing on 25th Feb’18.
We all love and relish some of the unique food & drinks. Though there is plenty of info available online, its best to listen to experts speaking about the same and clarify any questions. As part of this Food Festival, there is a Master Class almost in every aspect of food ranging from – Coffee, Indian Food, Veg Food, Continental, South Asian, BBQ, Wines, Cocktails and many more.
The various Master Class session would be – Coffee 101, Sushi For All, Thai Dishes, Vegetarian Pitstop, Grill Like a Pro – BBQ Masterclass, A Beginners Guide to Decoding Wine, Mixology, Crash course in Continental Cooking, and Cocktail Basics.
