One Plus 3 is one of the first mobile I took it on the day it was available for sale on Amazon, June 2016.  The reason for that was quite simply because it was the only phone that had all the features like – Connectivity, Memory, Camera, Charging, Display, Appearance and other features, along with value for money.  Most of the points were lacking in my earlier Samsung Note 3 and I was craving for them badly.

Connectivity
GSM / HSPA / LTE 
The networks speeds are advancing and gone are the days of 2G & 3G.  To be able to access data quickly, it is essential to have 4G.  We need the speed for doing many of our day-to-day activities like – browsing sites, downloading media for email/whatsapp, accessing videos channels and many others.
Observation – With the Airtel 4G network, I got – Download: ~30 Mbps, Upload: ~10Mps.

Memory
RAM – 6GB
This is very important indicator of Phone’s performance.  It allows the phone to access data directly rather than scanning through sequentially.  RAM is also what holds the data that enables multi-tasking.
Observation – Download and install of apps on this phone is quite quick.  It’s the fastest I have seen so far.

Internal Memory – 64GB
Mobile phone has become one of the most important device in which we end up so much of our data which includes – personal and official.  64GB of memory is a good to have, but would have loved it further if they had given a slot for expansion.
Observation – 64GB is a lot of memory but then if you are not careful, it can get consumed quickly.  Need to keep memory clean and avoid storing unnecessary data.

Camera
Rear Camera – 16 MP, f/2.0, phase detection auto-focus, OIS, LED flash
The generation is quite fast and people want to click picture of whatever we see.  Having a good rear camera helps capture all the life events/moments.
Observation – It is best to none and I personally feel that it is on par with the IPhone camera.

Front Camera – 8 MP, f/2.0, 1/3.2″ sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, 1080p
We all love taking selfies to be able to capture our current state of mind or take picture in a group without letting anyone be left out.
Observation – It has a great front camera but the focus seems to stay with the person closer to the camera.  If someone is a little way from the front camera, the person or object looks hazy.

Charging
Fast battery charging (Dash Charge)
Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery
Lack of phone charge is the most important problem everyone using phone faces.  Dash Charge is a game changer for this mobile and it allows quick recharge of phones.
Observation – Phone can be charged to near 100% in less than 40mts.

Display
Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
5.5 inches (~73.1% screen-to-body ratio)
1080 x 1920 pixels (~401 ppi pixel density)
It is most important that the data (image, video, doc and others) in the phone look good when viewed on mobile phone.  For that we need to have a good display resolution and large screen.
Observation – With 16M colors and 5.5” screen, the picture taken have always looked great when viewed on the phone.

Appearance
Dimension – 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm (6.01 x 2.94 x 0.29 in)
We all need handy phones that can be held well on our palm and the ones that don’t slip away.  Also, the edges shouldn’t be sharp as it can sometimes hurt.
Observation – There phone just looks good and finish looks very neat & clean. 

Value for Money
In the age, where the prices of every commodity in the market is going up.   It is essential to do a balanced investment after weighing all the options.  It is essential to not be distracted by brand names.  It is necessary to understand the value of each item in the product.  It is necessary to know what are the top priorities you are looking out in a phone.  It is essential to have the quality and sustainability.  It is essential to have a great track record.
Observation – Considering the factors mentioned above and the data captured about the phone, I think this is the best phone in the market that has the Best Value for Money with High Quality.
