Goa is one of the most popular tourist destinations both for National & International travelers. The place is known for its spectacular beaches, drinks (fenny), sea-food, churches, carnivals and casinos. Its probably the only place in our country where you will find the casinos both on Land and Cruise ships. If one drives across the ‘Atal Setu’ hanging bridge by the Mondovi river, one can notice plenty of cruise ships that have Casino in them. But there are many Casinos also setup in hotels that are obviously present on the land. I recently was invited to be part of the launch of one such casino inside Doubletree by Hilton – Panjim property, that’s called Cadillac Casino.

Pre-Launch Party

The Cadillac Casino was intended for launch on 15-Mar’20 but before THE day, the partners hosted a special event. This event was attended by people close partners and General Manager of Casino. To make the evening special, they invited popular Sandalwood Actress/Model, Ragini Dwivedi.

Casino is has 2 sections, one of the section is open to the public while the other one is private accessible only to VIPs. And there is also a special VIP section that meant for people playing with huge money. The interiors of the casino designed well, there is ample space has across various gaming counters. Bright and shiny colors have been used all across, making the place very attractive. I also noticed plenty of cameras all across the Casino to track people who cheat and want to get away.

This Casino boasts itself of having the maximum ‘Andar Baahar’ tables. They also many other games like Roulette and other card games where can try their luck.

On the pre-launch day on 14-Mar’20, we had fun playing with Fake Coins and winning by betting on random numbers.

Why Casino in Doubletree by Hilton?

The biggest attraction in Goa is undoubtedly the beach that attracts tourists like crazy. But then apart from beaches, people love to also splurge their money and at times also try their fortune. This probably is one of the most primary reasons for setting up Casino in Goa.

We all know that Hilton property is one of the most renowned hotel chains across the world. And the people staying inside the property are usually from well-to-families who have plenty of bank-balance. Now, these are kind of people who love to take more risk in gambling and make fortunes.

Panjim is the capital of Goa looks like a small city with dense population. But there still seems to be space for many new establishments to come up. Setting up more casinos sure does attract more travelers to the city. In turn, it also helps the local government get the required revenue.

Final Thoughts

My initial assessment suggests that this place will become one of the more popular Casino in Goa. I am sure the crowd the comes to visit the Casino will be more serious and top-notch. The experience of being part of the Pre-Launch was quite amazing, waiting to see the special arrangements planned for the launch. I will share more updates about the launch in my next article.
