Kebab Festival in Bangalore at Atlas

Advertisements

Atlas Restaurant is a new dining destination that comes up in the Vividus Hotel, located very close to Racecourse in Bangalore. The restaurant has one of the best-looking interiors thats covered in gold and silver.

Guests can relish some of the best selection of dishes from Indian, Continental, Mediterranean and more. Chef Arzooman Irani heads the kitchen and is assisted by Chef Akhil.  I recently visited the restaurant to do food trails of the Kebab Food Festival.

About Vividus Hotel

A relatively new hotel has come up in the CBD area of Bangalore thats called VIVIDUS. It’s the first hotel property for the group and it looks pictures perfect.  The interiors designer is in love with gold and everything around the property has a touch of gold finish.

They have 108 rooms across 3 different categories.  The hotel gets a great view of the racecourse that’s one of the highlights.  There are 2 banquet halls that operations and a 24-hours coffee shop – Atlas.  The hotel is still a work in progress as many more new things are expected to come.IMG_20190629_131646.jpg

Ambiance inside Atlast

The new restaurant in town has one of the best-looking interiors that very neat and clean.  It has the look that can make any say wow.

Few things to highlight inside the restaurant – Beautiful cutlery that are colored gold/copper, sofas that have gold exteriors, gold/copper colored cutlery, gold colored sofas, beautiful chairs and nicely spread tables.

There are no paintings on the wall but the background and color selection makes it picture perfect.

Amazing Food

I went to try the food thats served as part of the “Kibbeh To Kebab” Food Festival. As part of the festival, a variety of Kebabs from across the globe will be available for guests to savour. There are 7 varieties of Veg & 7 varieties of Non-Veg Kebabs from different countries.

Vegetarian

Shish Kofte Kebab (Turkey)

Saslik (Central Asia)

Hara Bhara Kebab (India)

Manti (Turkey)

Chermoula Peppers (Morrocan)

Lauki Ke Pasande (India)

Soya Al Fresco Shawarm (UAE)

The taste of every Kebab was just amazing and without a doubt, the best Vegetarian dish I have eaten in a while. The flavors of Spice, Salt, Tangy, Sweet & Bitter was so well balanced that I relished every bite of it. Along with the dishes, Chef also served some Cheese Naan, Stuffed Kulcha & specially made bread. I enjoyed the complete experience.

Non-Vegetarian

Kalmi Kebab (India), Doner Kebab (Turkey), Jujeh Kebab (Pesia), Beyti Kebab (Egypt), Kibbeh (Levant), Bun Kebab (Pakistani) & Seafood Zhoung (Israel)

Pricing Info

Veg Kebabs are priced at INR 450 and Non-Veg kebabs comes for around INR 650-750.  Sea-food dish costs around INR 750.

The price might look a little high, but I think it’s worth the price as the portion size & taste are top notch.

Overall Experience

This was one of the best foods I have tasted since a long time.  I initially went there without any expectation as I have eaten food at Vividus.  But to my surprise, it was hard for me to find any fault with the dishes.  Chef has done an amazing job with every dish and I am sure it will be loved by everyone.  Hoping to try more dishes from other cuisines, buffet and some of the drinks before rating it higher.
