  • Local attractions close to the hotel include – Lumbinin Gardens, Nagavara Lake, ISKON Temple, Bangalore Palace, Vidhana Soudha, Nandi Hills and Lalbagh.

Infinity Pool

This place on the top floor feels special and amazing.  Guests can view the Nagawara Lake, Manyata Tech Park, Coconut plantation, Residential area and vehicular traffic on Outer Ring Road.  The guests are bound to have an amazing experience going for swim.  I would specially love sipping a cocktail, standing beside the infinity pool and gazing at the sky and lake.

Restaurants, Bar and Lounges

The Hebbal Café

This is an All-Day Dining restaurant that offers interactive buffet stations with a-la-carte menu.  World cuisine is served as part of the meal offering.  The interiors on the wall and seating looks quite special.

B’lore 45

The bar counter quite large and cool.  This place will become a destination for many of the corporate to hang-out during the mid-week or weekends.

Nazaara – The Rooftop Lounge

This is one of the special restaurant which offers guests, best view of the lake and gourmet food.  Interiors looks quite chic and sophisticated.  The place is best suited for a private business lunch/dinner along with delegates.

Glazed – Grab and Go

Best place to eat for those travellers, who are in a hurry and want to pick up something basic like coffee/tea & some snacks.

Special Cocktails

Courtyard Marriott uses one tag line very often, “Make Room for a Little Fun”.  To keep up with the words, they have done something special by introducing new cocktails & mocktails.  Murali is the person behind the bar counter at this place.

B’lore Sling Back contains Pomegranate infused Tanqueray Gin, Fresh Ginger, Pineapple, Rosemary, Raspberry, Rose syrup, lemon juice and saffron.  The presentation of this cocktail is great, subtle combination works wonders.

Connection 45 is the name given to the second cocktail which has Ballentine Whisky, Havana Rum and few secret ingredients.  The taste of this drink is awesome, and I feel like take multiple sips after taking the first.  The number after the word signifies the ‘pincode’ of the area.

Mocktails are also another important drink which people prefer many times.  Berry Elderflower mocktail contained Rosemary, mix berries, Apple juice, Lemon juice, Elderflower syrup and sparking water.  The taste of the mocktails was great and I enjoyed it.

Mango and Passion Fruit Colada is another good mocktail getting its flavours from coconut, pineapple & mango.  The drink perfectly suits the upcoming summer.

Brunch at ‘The Hebbal Café’

The restaurant is quite big and has some wonderful interiors.  They have tables that can seat anywhere between 4-16 members, making it perfect for team lunch or large family dining.  There is no specific cuisine served inside but a selection of dishes from different cuisines are served.

There are various sections serving North Indian, South Indian, Continental, Mediterranean, Salads, Chinese, Italian, Live (chaat & dosa) counter and Desserts.

Few dishes that I enjoyed consuming – Appam Set Dosa, Salad and Chocolate Mud Cake.

Appam Set Dosa is very unique, Appam Batter is put on the tawa like set-dosa.  But the batter used that of Appam Dosa.  Chutneys (Tomato & Coconut) were served along with Sambar.

Salad was made with fresh veggies, dressing and goat cheese, which was the perfect appetizer before having heavy food.

Mudcake was also special as the moment it was cut open, chocolate just oozed out.  It was served with dried red velvet cake crumbs, vanilla cake, small pieces of Meringue and well spread chocolate powder.  The plating was well done which made it more desirable.

Overall Experience

It was a great experience visiting the new Courtyard by Marriott at Hebbal.  The location is just perfect for travellers and is very close to the airport.  Interiors have been very well done well.  Some of the aspect of the hotel that I loved were – Infinity pool with great view of the surroundings, Nazaara restaurant with special interiors & view of lake from windows, B’lore 45 bar serving some wonderful cocktails and food served at ‘The Hebbal Café’ restaurant.  I specially recommend this place for to any business traveller working in and around Manyata Tech Park.

Hoping to visit the property soon and have a cosy dinner.
